"Welcome to the Family" - Simon/Kaylee - Firefly

A crew vid disguised as a Simon/Kaylee ship vid. Also my first storytelling vid. Roles: Mal - Narrator/Daddy Book - Grandpa Zoe - Uncle Bill Jayne - Cousin Jesse Inara - Mama River - Nephew Apologies for the mix-matching of genders. There weren't enough females roles, so Zoe and River drew the short straws. It actually works out, because Zoe always did wear the pants in her relationship, and River...I think you'll agree she fits her role. My only regret is running out of roles for poor Wash :( Sorry Hoban. And here's my attempt at the story... Kaylee brings her new beau home but Mal has a few warnings, and a few shotguns as well. Simon quickly cleans up his act, but his civilized shyness causes him to say something that upsets Kaylee. Inara comforts her while Daddy has a chat with Simon, and the two lovebirds make up and get married. Simon finally loosens his shirt and picks up a gun, and the family's happy to accept him.
