The British House of Commons has been suspended after an assailant was shot at the British Houses of Parliament. Eyewitnesses report a loud bang followed by screams at the gates of parliament in central London. Leader of the House of Commons David Lidington MP told The House of Commons that the chamber would remained locked down after. “The alleged assailant was shot by armed police. An air ambulance is currently attending the scene to remove the casualties."
