Is it possible to Reamp without a Reamp Box? Absolutely, and it's easier then you might think and you may already have everything required to begin doing so! It isn't wrong when people say you do need a reamp box to do reamping, but it isn't exactly true either. It is however very important to make sure that the DI signal is matching more or less level/Impedance that an amp would recieve if the guitar were to just be plugged in normally. You can use the main outs of your interface or any other aux/out, they are line level outputs without any amplification since they are mostly used to send signal into active speakers. However you should never use the headphone outputs to do Reamping, headphone outputs are equipped with amplifiers to drive headphones. Should you buy a Reamp Box? I don't think so, based on the price for a box with the simplest circuit that is passive and only involves a transformer, it is certainly not worth spending 100+€ when you can do this. Granted, some Reamp boxes has some features that can be usefull, but in my honest opinion, i don't think it is worth it when there are ways to work around it. There may be some very subtle differences between each method, and that's up to you what you think of it.
