The International Court of Justice (ICJ), the principal judicial organ of the United Nations, continues public hearings on the request for an advisory opinion concerning Israel’s obligations relating to the presence and activities of the United Nations, international organisations and third states in occupied Palestine. The session, held at the Peace Palace in The Hague under the presidency of Judge Iwasawa Yuji, features oral statements by South Africa, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Belgium and Colombia. Hearings run from 28 April to 2 May 2025.
