Kinaye Extended Range Battery Capacity Test

We completed our testing of the stock Sondors battery and our own Extended Range Battery for the Sondors Ebike. The Stock Battery output 8.272 Amp-Hours in Live testing to the Cut-off Voltage of ~32.5V. Kinaye's Extended Range battery output 11.803 Amp-Hours in Live testing to the same cut-off voltage of ~32.5 Volts. Kinaye's Extended range Battery provides an additional 42.7% increase in capacity over the stock Sondors battery, based on live testing and actual low-voltage cut-offs. It should be noted that the Live testing capacity of both batteries was notably less than the rated capacities. We attribute the difference to a few factors including higher than typical discharge rates and a higher than rated cut-off voltage of ~3.25V per cell vs the manufacturer's LVC of 2.5V per cell. This higher than rated Low-Volt Cut-off will improve battery life and result in more charge cycles over it's lifetime, so we accept this slightly lower capacity in exchange for a longer lifespan.
