Welcome aboard! This freight train is starting in Emmenbrücke, very close to Lucerne in central Switzerland, and we're headed north to Basel marshalling yard. Our route takes us through smaller and medium sized villages and we'll eventually reach Olten, an important hub in the Swiss railway network that connects many lines together. If you're a regular viewer, you'll probably know the rest: Through the Hauenstein base tunnel further up north, making our way through the canton of Basel-Landschaft and then reaching the marshalling yard Basel-Muttenz.
