Mukteshwar Uttarakhand | Chauli ki Jaali | KMVN | Travel Vlog | Komal & Kamal Welcome to our latest travel vlog! This video is all about our Mukteshwar visit, a beautiful and peaceful hill station located in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. Known for its mesmerizing landscapes, apple orchards, temples, and the thrilling spot called Chauli ki Jaali, Mukteshwar is one of the best places to explore in the Kumaon region. In this vlog, we start our journey from Haldwani and travel via Bhimtal to reach Mukteshwar. The entire drive is filled with natural beauty, tall pine and deodar trees, mountain views, and small villages that add charm to the route. After reaching Mukteshwar, we stayed at the famous KMVN Rest House Mukteshwar, which is well-known for its heritage, location, and breathtaking views of the Himalayas. From there, we explored the adventurous and scenic Chauli ki Jaali, a cliff that offers panoramic views and an adrenaline rush. ✨ If you are planning a trip to Uttarakhand, especially Mukteshwar, this vlog will give you a complete travel guide with our personal experience, stay recommendations, and must-visit places. Our Journey: Haldwani → Bhimtal → Mukteshwar Our trip began from Haldwani, a city often called the gateway to Kumaon. Driving through the winding mountain roads, we crossed the famous Bhimtal Lake, which is bigger than Nainital Lake and equally beautiful. The lake surrounded by hills looked magical with its calm water and boating activities. After spending some time there, we continued our drive toward Mukteshwar. The route from Bhimtal to Mukteshwar is filled with scenic beauty. You will witness: Lush green valleys 🌿 Small rivers and waterfalls ⛲ Traditional Kumaoni villages 🏡 Terraced fields 🌾 The peaceful vibe of the journey makes it a must-try experience for nature lovers. Stay at KMVN Rest House Mukteshwar When we reached Mukteshwar, we stayed at the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN) Rest House. This rest house is one of the best places to stay in Mukteshwar because of: Its prime location on the hilltop Panoramic Himalayan views from the balcony Comfortable and budget-friendly rooms Rich heritage feel, as it has been serving tourists for decades From the rest house, we could clearly see the mighty peaks of the Himalayas on a clear day, including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Panchachuli ranges. The sunrise and sunset views here are unforgettable. Exploring Chauli ki Jaali One of the most thrilling experiences of Mukteshwar is visiting Chauli ki Jaali. It is a natural rock formation on a cliff near the famous Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple. The place is surrounded by mythological stories and also offers breathtaking views of the valley below. Highlights of Chauli ki Jaali: Perfect spot for adventure lovers (rock climbing & rappelling activities are available) Panoramic view of Almora, the Himalayan range, and the deep valley below A place with spiritual significance – locals believe wishes come true here One of the most Instagram-worthy spots in Mukteshwar 📸 Standing at the edge of Chauli ki Jaali with the cool mountain breeze was an unforgettable moment of our journey.
