There used to be another building to the west of the stone building, but it burned down. The little house? That used to be owned by George and "Chink" Temple. They moved away when I was about 6, but remained pen pals with my mother until their death. The bathrooms weren't outhouses, but fully functional with toilets. They had gravity tanks and pull chains. There is a well on the property with the stone building also. The stone building is older than the Salt Flat Cafe, dating back to the days of the Butterfield Trail.
