I don't know if you've seen this and somehow it's all tied to crypto. right, So it first went down on July 29th that the Atlanta Dream versus Golden State Valkyries game, a green dildo was thrown out into the court. There was an arrest there. and since then you've had similar incidents in Chicago, L.A, Phoenix and New York. Sometimes it's hit fans, including a 12 year old girl. you got most players saying it's dangerous and disrespectful. The WNBA warning offenders that you'll face a one year ban, ejection, or arrest. which on the note of arrests, there was one in Georgia. There was also an 18 year old in Phoenix, a sex toy hit a guy and possibly his niece. and as far as who's behind it, you've got a person calling himself Lieutenant Daldo Rain claiming responsibility. saying, “it’s a protest against toxic crypto culture,” promoting green dildo coin, which was launched on July 28th, a day before the first incident. claiming the first arrest was unrelated, but the second was part of the group. and one of the twists here is that the betting site Polymarket, it’s actually letting users wager if dildo is going to be thrown at upcoming WNBA games. we’re talking over $500,000 in betting volume as I'm recording at 7% chance for tonight, 14% for tomorrow. so with that, you have critics warning that this market existing, this bet being there, it encourages people to throw dildos to win bets. right, some arguing cost of ticket plus d*ldo is less than $50. Penalties are minor.
