A Winter to Remember, part 2.

I'm delivering a second tribute to the beauty of winter as promised, because Mother Nature has continued to deliver. At the time I posted the first one I had no idea that the "Blizzard of '26" was in store. Total snowfall since mid January has been well over 3 feet here and the temperature has been consistent enough to keep the trails snowshoeable. I've been able to get my fill within a ten mile radius of my home. Though I'd love to spend an entire day in these places, between one and two miles of snowshoeing is all it takes to hit the spot. Now rain is in the forecast and by all appearances winter is coming to a close, but I'm not hanging up my snowshoes yet - anything is possible in New England.
