I hope that you enjoy this backing version of the popular Elements Song written by Tom Lehrer. I have been looking for an appropriate backing for ages and thought that other people may like to challenge themselves to sing the song. Feel free to download the video and use where appropriate. Each picture in the song represents a possible use of that element. However, since the song was published, there are now 15 more elements have been discovered (some synthetically), and ten of those have been named. The ten are lawrencium, rutherfordium, dubnium, seaborgium, bohrium, hassium, meitnerium darmstadtium, roentgenium and copernicium. I am a primary school teacher from Sydney (Australia), and prepared the video for a student who will perform the song at our school's performing arts showcase in a few months. With his parents permission, I will post the performance on YouTube. I hope that you enjoy the video, which became a slight obsession of mine during the holiday break! Below are the lyrics to the song if you are game to have a go. Best of luck!
