I was shopping for fabric to make samples from for the Dapper Villains menswear product line. I have already mocked-up and made the garment prototypes, this fabric shopping trip was simply to test the right fabrics with the garment samples. If you want to find the best fabric in Bangkok, and most likely the best fabric in Thailand, you are going to want to visit the fabric shop 863 Textiles in Bangkok, Thailand. They have a massive amount of fabrics from Japan, Thailand, and all over. Everything is clearly labeled and the customer service is out of this world as the staff is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about the staff. I have been to countless fabric shops in Bangkok, and none of them have the level of customer service that 863 Textiles has. The staff is always there when you need them, they have English speaking staff if your Thai speaking isn't so good all of the staff are super knowledgable. Fabric sourcing or fabric shopping is a very important part of garment product development, regardless if it's menswear or womenswear.
