In 2017, the city of New Orleans controversially removed four of its Confederate monuments. But few at the time took note of the smaller and less prominent monuments on the neutral ground of Norman C. Francis Parkway in the Mid-City neighborhood. In this shameless cash-grab of a video, I present the histories of these lesser monuments and the men they commemorate – Colonel Charles Didier Dreux, Father Abram J. Ryan, and General Albert Pike.
