The IT world is now a Zero Trust world where dynamic policy and segmentation are becoming standard requirements, but many organizations do not have a network that can address these challenges. This video shows how Cisco SD-Access Fabric now supports Secure Network device onboarding of Catalyst 9000 Series to help bolster Edge Security and prevent Unauthorized Network access. This new feature is called Supplicant-Based Extended Nodes (SBEN). These extended node devices receive an IEEE 802.1x (Dot1x) supplicant configuration and are onboarded into the SD-Access network only after a complete authentication and authorization. The video provides an overview and demonstration of this capability.
