It's his custom BoCo model and he has all the details/answers you need if you have any questions about it. Enjoy the video! Trevor the Traction Engine enjoys doing his work in the Vicarage Orchard. It was a beautiful day with birds singing and apples ripening on the trees. Just then, James arrives and compliments how Trevor's happy emotion is comparable to his bright red paint. Trevor agrees completely but then, James hears a strange noise and asks where its coming from; Trevor explains that its the Vicars bees, which are nestled in some white bee hives and they are hard at work making honey. Trevor also explains that the Vicar is going to be taking some of the hives to the station later as well as passing out some freshly made honey to his friends. Just then, BoCo the Diesel arrives and warns the two engines not to make the bees angry, otherwise they will start stinging. James, who doesn't like to be told what to do by diesels, ignores him and departs immediately. BoCo bids Trevor farewell shortly afterwards and heads to the harbor to meet up with Duck. At the harbor, Bill and Ben, the tank engine twins, are busy arranging freight cars but they leave quickly when they see BoCo. As he rolls up to Duck, BoCo chuckles about the time he first met the twins and how Edward soon put a stop to their games. Duck agrees that Edward is the only one who can keep Bill and Ben in order and admits he gave a nickname to the twins called "The Bees". BoCo smiles and that the nickname is good fit for the engines as a result of their behavior. At that moment, James bustles in after overhearing part of the conversation. He butts in and he asks Duck if he is afraid of bees and boasts that he would make the bees buzz off by blowing smoke at them, much to Duck's amusement. The next morning, James arrives at Tidmouth station to collect his passenger train. As he backs down onto the coaches, James can see that the platform as quite crowded and as the passengers prepare to board the train, the porter, who was in a hurry, accidentally knocks a beehive off the trolley, causing it to break open. The entire station clears out quickly as if by magic as a swarm of bees come flying out of the broken hive. The bees, who were too cold to be cross, begin to buzz around James' crew in the hopes that the men would repair their hive. However, James' crew didn't understand and were more worried that they would get stung and so, the bees cling onto James' warm boiler instead. One of the bees burns itself on its foot after touching a hot spot on James' boiler and, in retaliation, the bee teaches the red engine a lesson by stinging him right on the nose, leaving it red and swollen. James shrieks in pain from the sting and he, along with his crew, cannot take it anymore and run off, only to leave their coaches behind at the station. They all try different methods to get the bees to fly off of James' boiler such as spinning around on a turntable, washing them off and smoking them out in a tunnel but no matter what, the bees would not go away. Finally, James' driver decides the only thing to do is to go back to the orchard and fetch a new hive. The vicar, who heard the news, waits anxiously for James to return with his bees and as soon as the red engine comes to a stop, the bees immediately fly off his boiler and straight into their new home. With the bees finally gone, James' driver takes the red engine to get a good washdown. Later that evening, James was resting in the sheds when the Vicar comes to pay him and his crew a visit. The vicar brings some jars of honey to give to James' crew and thanks the red engine for saving his bees. He also jokingly notes that even though its not Christmas yet, it would be a great idea to nickname him "James the Red-Nosed Engine", much to James and his crew's amusement. However, they all agree that instead, they will give James the nickname: "The Bee's Knees," which means they thought he was more useful than ever.
