I have been a bit lax regarding my tomatoes lately and not realised that they needed feeding. This has caused some mottling and yellowing of the leaves between the veins with brown mottling which is a sure sign of Magnesium Deficiency. To stop this happening all you need do is to feed the plant as soon as you have tomatoes growing with a good brand of feed containing Soluble Magnesium and other trace elements.For a quick fix you can spray the plant with epsom salts diluted at a rate of 1/2 oz to 1pt water and spray the leaves with this.This contains Magnesium Sulphate and will help to fix the problem.
