Here’s info on the Ed.S. degree at South College from the 2023–2025 catalog. The program may change in future catalogs: https://catalog.south.edu/preview_pro... This is the Ed.S. program page on the main website: https://www.south.edu/program/educati... (Note: I'm not sponsored by South College. I'm sharing the links above to be helpful and because a commenter asked for them.) Many of you know I was pursuing a Doctor of Education at South College but had to withdraw to focus on other life priorities. At South College, it’s considered a post-master’s degree with doctoral-level courses, minus the final research course and dissertation When I heard about it, I checked with CBE leadership to see if the eight courses (nine quarter credits each) I completed in the core curriculum and my specialization earned me an EdS. And it did! I had go through a relatively easy admin process and pay a $300 USD graduation fee. I’m grateful for the chance to attend South College and proud to have earned this unique degree in 5–6 months (via a lot of effort)! _____ About Assignments: I often get questions about the assignments in CBE doctoral coursework at South College.
