Climate Justice Activist Xiye Bastida speaks on the importance of indigenous knowledge for living sustainably with nature. Xiye Bastida Patrick is a Mexican-born climate activist and member of the Indigenous Otomi community. At just 21 years of age, she is one of the major organizers of Fridays for Future New York City and has been a leading voice for indigenous and immigrant visibility in climate activism. This intergenerational panel was hosted by the Tyler Prize for Environmental Science, in April 2023 at the University of Southern California.
