The folks over at Bullet Blocker ( http://www.bulletblocker.com ) were kind enough to send out one of their backpacks for us to test. We put a 9mm full metal jacket into it, as well as .40 caliber hollow points and .45 caliber full metal jackets as well. We were definitely impressed with the stopping power of the backpack. If there was a drawback to the product, it is that the protective layer has a relatively small surface area. However, if worn by a school kid, both inserts should protect the vital internal organs, though arms and legs are still exposed. The Bullet Blocker definitely blocked the bullets.
