This is the first video in a series looking at options to replace my lead acid off-grid home solar battery. I have 2 separate solar systems on my home, one off-grid and one grid tied (grid connected) so in this video I briefly discuss the 2 systems and what battery storage options I might have moving forward, either replace my off-grid battery of beef up the grid connected system and use the Govt battery rebate. This first video though takes a deep dive into the off-grid system. Specifically in this video I look at the following: Off grid system: detailed look at the technology, various components, generation and storage capacity, age and costs. Grid connected system: high level look at components, generation capacity and age. My EV charging station and where the energy comes from. Changeover switch and duel house power circuits.
