I've had some bad days but some really good days, especially after a good old retwist. My locs have taught me so much about myself, they've helped me rediscover parts of myself I never knew I had. The confidence, the belief & perseverance. I started my short starter locs with comb coils. As you can see because I started my locs with short hair, I've seen major growth the past year and I'm excited to see how my locs will grow when I get to 2 years. My short starter loc journey has definitely taught me a lot of patience, I've enjoyed documenting everything through this loc journey. I hope you enjoy this summary of my 1 year being loc'd and I hope it encourages you to either start your loc journey or continue at whatever stage you're in. Whether you've just loc'd your hair, whether yours has just started budding, whether you also have 4b and 4c hair like me...
