This house is said to be the oldest residence in the oldest town on Cape Cod. The house frames is from the mid 1600s but the current home is 1756. This home was also owned by the town for many years and was known as the Thornton W. Burgess museum - Burgess wrote over 170 children's books and this is was his Aunt Arabella's home in the late 1800s. She was said to inspire some of his writings as she had many pets and loved animals. Walk through this home with us here! Then Come rent this home on VRBO , Airbnb or direct on our website.
