Hi. My name is Derek Blazer. I'm with The Blazer Team of Cummings & Co. Realtors. I think the most rewarding part, we're a very relationship based team. Everyone is so busy this day and age with work, family life. And when it comes time to actually go to buy or sell a property, when they hire me, I actually get to be a part of their life for a few months, and we're in communication pretty much daily throughout the entire process. And it's just nice to be a part of someone's personal journey when buying or selling a house. At The Blazer Team, we pride ourselves in being professional, resourceful, and productive. So when we came up with a tagline, where relationships and real estate come together, it was really fed off all of our backgrounds in the restaurant business. Being in the restaurant business for about 15 years, we were already building a ton of relationships, and it just made sense to move those into the real estate. I was drawn to real estate after purchasing my first home. The sense of accomplishment that I achieved of owning my own home, it really made me feel like an adult. It made me feel like it was something that I wanted to help bring that feeling to clients. When we say that relationships and real estate come together, we mean it. The base of our company has been building relationships with people, where we're going to give you our real honest opinions all of the time. The home buying process can become very intimate. As you get to know these people, their dreams become yours. You become attached to what it is that they feel that they want and the things that they hope to accomplish. Getting to the closing table and seeing the joy, the security, that people feel getting into their first home or their second home or whatever it makes them feel great about themselves, is just the icing on the cake. Our tagline, "Professional, resourceful and productive," came about as we brainstormed and thought about what we all bring to the table. Professionalism is something that was demanded from us in its highest form in our previous field. That's all coming from the restaurant and hospitality background. That, coupled with the relationship building, has allowed us to be as resourceful as anybody can in the real estate world.
