The ultimate goal is to make this automated. • VSM does NOT show annotations on the original, natural language text. The choice of strings in the ‘blue terms’ can make a ‘VSM-sentence’ LOOK a lot like natural language (thanks to a permissive coupling of strings and underlying IDs), but that is only for user-friendliness. The human sees the terms (and connectors), while the computer cares only about the IDs (and connectors). • The connectors on top are NOT some form of parse tree. They represent the actual, semantic relations between the individual terms/IDs. Only a minimal set of these ‘primitive relations’ (‘subject’, ‘object’, etc.) is necessary and also sufficient to build VSM-sentences. Contact: [my-1st-name][email protected].
