Turkey donates vital communications equipment to the Gambia Armed Forces.

Gambia Armed Forces have received a donation of communications equipment worth a quarter of million dollars from the republic of Turkey. The gesture is expected to boost the operational capabilities of the armed forces, as they take on more crucial roles, especially in the peacekeeping arena. GRTS’ Omar P. Jallow was at defence headquarters for the ceremony graced by senior military personnel and officials from the Turkish embassy. 18th January 2024
