It's impossible not to think that at some point during the making of their album "Actually," the Pet Shop Boys considered releasing "One More Chance" as a single... perhaps with the idea of ​​repeating the "West End Girls" success by reissuing a single from the Bobby O era, since several "single edit" versions of that track do exist... and what the album ended up including seems to be an "extended" version. One of those single versions finally saw the light of day on the "Actually - Further Listening" CD, but two other edits had already surfaced many years earlier in low quality alongside the "Abby Road" demos from "Actually." One of them (the 'single edit #1') is very similar (though not identical) to the 7" mix included on "Further Listening." The other, "single edit #2," has more differences, some obvious, others more subtle, It's my favorite of these edits, and it's the one I'm bringing exclusively to my channel in its complete, high-quality version.
