Uninstalling the stock springs and replacing it with the Eibach Pro kit. Reverse the steps for install. I did the cheating way. I uninstalled both the front struts and took it to Firestone. They charge just about $50 to swap the springs out for you. While they were doing that, I came back to work on the rear springs. These lowering springs will settle in at 1.2" for Front and Rear. 2021 Camry XSE i4 2.5 FWD The tools I used : Low profile floor Jack (x4) Jack stands 1/2” Square Drive Ratchet Sockets 14mm, 17mm, & 22mm Cross bar (for lug nuts) A battery impact gun (M18 3/8” Milwaukee) A flathead screwdriver (to remove a clip/rubber insert) Spare Jack (in case you need, the rear LCA gave me a hard time lining up the hole for the bolt) Steps: Front wheels -Loosen up lug nuts. Then place the floor Jack in the front center, lining it up on a solid point of the body frame. Raise it up, place your jack stands on both sides, remove remaining lug nuts and then the wheel. -Remove anything connecting to the strut as shown in the video. You’ll need to use a flathead to push out that rubber clip if necessary as well. -Open hood & remove 3 bolts (Not the marked bolt, that connects to the sway bar). On the last bolt, I held the strut with one hand before removing the bolt. Do the same on the other side. Next, You can opt to use a spring compressor to compress the spring and swap out the springs yourself (please use caution if you are inexperienced), or spend $50 as I did at a Firestone shop. I dropped it off then came back to do the rear springs. For the rear, start by loosening the lug nuts, then raising the car using the floor Jack placed on a solid joint of the car(see video). Once the car is raised, place your Jack stands on both sides, and remove the wheels. Lower your Jack stand, then raise it just below the LCA (lower control arm) as I pointed out on the video, right next to where the bolt is. Remove the bolt then slowly lower the Jack. You do not necessarily need a spring compressor to remove these springs, press the LCA down as far as you can & pull the spring outward from the top. Now swap the spring and make sure you place that rubber piece on top of your new ones. Line up the bottom of that spring to seat properly, then raise the Jack back up. Line up the hole to bolt back in the LCA. I had a hard time on this step and this is probably the hardest part about the install. Lining up that hole was a mofo. I used a second Jack on the other side of that hole and slowly used a rubber hammer to tap in what I could but not too much as I didn’t want to damage any threads. I then used the impact gun lightly to try to catch a thread. Get past this and you’re good. Tighten the nut on and call it good. Do the same for the other side. once you completed the rear, your front struts should be ready to pick up. Install the struts following the directions in reverse. Make sure your top hat blue dot is facing outwards, (I marked driver/passenger by the way so i wouldn’t mix it up). install your wheels back and tighten up lug nuts. Lower the vehicle and disengage the ebrake by going into “D”. The springs should settle after a week or 2. Thanks for watching!
