Climate Resilient Livelihoods for Vulnerable and Marginalized Communities

Climate change impacts are real. Rising temperatures, unpredictable rainfall, and extreme weather events are reshaping agricultural landscape. Additionally, erratic monsoons often bring either devastating floods or prolonged droughts—damaging crops, eroding fertile soil, and leaving farmers vulnerable. Warmer temperatures have also led to the spread of pests and diseases, further reducing yields and increasing costs. In response to these events, to adapt to the extreme impacts of climate change and make farmers resilient to climate shocks, SAHAS Nepal in partnership with SODI, ADH, and Nepalteam Germany is implementing Climate Resilient Village project in Surkhet and Dailekh district of Nepal, aiming to make communities resilient.
