Yellow Split Pea Spreadable Butter By: The Jaroudi Family Ingredients: 1 cup cooked yellow split peas 1/4 cup nondairy milk (unflavored/unsweetened) 1 tsp lemon juice 1 tsp white miso 1/8 tsp turmeric powder Dash of black pepper 1 tablespoon fresh or dried chopped parsley 1 tablespoon fresh or dried chopped chives Directions: In a high-speed blender add all the ingredients except parsley and chives. Blend until smooth. Stir in chopped parsley and chives. Refrigerate for five days in an airtight container.
