The Mid Engine V8 Ferraris are the most recognizable and common Ferrari produced during their 50 year long history. In this video I will discuss all of the mid-engine V8 Ferraris, how they got their names, and what the different specifications were. Starting with the Dino 206/246 which was actually a V6, but lead to the naming schema that persisted into the V8 Ferraris. The history spans from the 308/208 GT4, 308, Mondial, 328, 288 GTO, F40, 348, 355, 360, F430, 458 Italia, 488 GTB and finally the F8 Tributo. I talk about how they no longer adhere to the nomenclature used for the first part of their history, when and why it changed. I also discuss how the technology has changed and now Ferrari produces some of the fastest, most desirable, and beautiful cars in the world.
