Is it worth spending more to save fuel? Subscribe here: / @therightcar That's the $6000 or $8000 question for the Chery Tiggo 4 Hybrid, depending on the spec. The Tiggo 4 petrol-electric hybrid electric vehicle (or HEV) uses a more sophisticated powertrain with electrification. But the fuel use benefit is negligible at just 2 litres per 100km less than the petrol version. And the petrol model starts at $23,990 drive-away... this one kicks off at $29,990 drive-away, with the same spec. And in the top-spec, it's a $26,990 petrol option, or $34,990 for the hybrid. To me, it's not worth the extra outlay -- though as you'll find in this review, the powertrain does vastly change the drive experience! -- WATCH MY CHERY TIGGO 4 PETROL REVIEW - • Cheap SUV champion? 2026 Chery Tiggo 4 rev... -- BEST ALTERNATIVES: Skoda Kamiq - • WHY BUY CHINESE?
