The Women’s Pole Vault event got underway at 17:58 (local time) at the Suheim bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar on 5/28/21. The temperature at the stadium was 39°C (102°F). Nageotte (USA), Morris (USA), Bradshaw (GBR), Stefanidi (GRE), Šutej (SLO), Zhuk (BLR), they all continued to the next round. ROUND 5: Height @ 4.84m (this is the round that decided the competition) Bradshaw (GBR), Stefanidi (GRE), Šutej (SLO), Zhuk (BLR) are all eliminated. Nageotte (USA) and her compatriot Morris continued to the next round. ROUND 6: Height @ 4.90m Nageotte and Morris failed to clear the height. Nageotte was the winner as she had the best record throughout the competition. But the Americans walked out of the Competition with a World Leading Mark and both of them equaled the existing Meet Record as both of them cleared 4.84m. Seven athletes have either a Personal Best or a Season Best. Zhuk (BLR) set a new National Record.
