inspiration by works from GHMP collections The educational video presents still life as an artistic subject, introduces its specifics and various concepts. Through a short insight into world painting and especially into a set of works from the collections of the Prague City Gallery (GHMP), it is shown what forms still life can take. The video offers comparisons of different artists' approaches as well as the basic principles of preparing a still life for its subsequent artistic representation. This is followed by an art task that works with the objects around us and their random and controlled grouping and subsequent photographic capture (still life can also be created by drawing, painting, collage, etc.). The educational video is suitable for the 2nd grade of primary and secondary schools, but with modification it can be used for other age categories.
