Located in north-central Arizona, Clarkdale was established in 1912 as a company town for the United Verde Copper Mine. Our original townsite, on the National Register of Historic Places, features a mix of historic Craftsman Bungalows, Mission-Style and Spanish-Revival homes, many restored or preserved by their owners. Our newer neighborhoods feature modern, energy-efficient homes, many on beautiful view lots. The care and planning invested over a century ago is still reflected today by a community dedicated to sustainability.
