Oil's biggest week since 1983. COMEX silver down 12.9% in 30 days. $900B wiped Friday. 7-to-1 leverage ratio exposed. Everything connects. Oil just posted its largest weekly gain in forty-three years, with WTI closing at $91.50 on Friday, up 34.5% in a single week and 66% since December. The Strait of Hormuz is functionally closed to the majority of tanker traffic, with the US Treasury deploying a $20 billion reinsurance program just to keep energy product moving. Twenty percent of global oil supply is currently offline. Meanwhile, COMEX silver inventory fell 12.9% in a single month, with 51 million ounces leaving the system in thirty days. Registered silver now sits at 81 million ounces against a leverage ratio of nearly 7 to 1. Multiple vaults drained simultaneously in a single session. Shanghai silver holds a $12 premium over Western spot. Over $900 billion in US market cap was erased on Friday alone, following the tightest S&P 500 trading compression since 1928. China is implementing export controls on silver-related materials while US intelligence reports potential Chinese support for Iran. Silver rejected $85 despite dollar weakness. The structural picture underneath the paper price is clear. Watch the strait, watch COMEX registered inventory, and watch the $85 level.
