Think the MC80 is the only capital ship available to the Rebel Alliance from Star Wars? Wrong! Today we'll learn about the 5 deadliest ships used by the Rebels in Star Wars Legends. Note: I stated in the video that we were looking at Legends and Canon, but I misspoke - this list is Star Wars Legends only, the canon version will come very soon!! *** Music: Netflix and Chillwave by Cameragrammar Resonance by HOME *** We see the epic Battle of Endor at the end of Star Wars Episode6, Return of the Jedi, but (surprisingly!) that engagement only had a small fraction of the Rebels ship type. Below are the five, in no particular order, strongest ships used by the rebellion. Dauntless Class Heavy Frigate: One of the few ships with the beef to go head-to-head with a Star Destroyer and potentially win. The Assault Frigate Mark II: the Assault Frigate Mark I was a redesign of the Dreadnought Class Heavy Cruiser - the Mark II is a further iteration on the design. MC80 Home One Type - Probably one of the most famous capital ships used by the Rebel Alliance. Some people say that this is analogous to a Super Star Destroyer - while that's clearly out of touch, and the ship is closer in classification to a regular Star Destroyer - the MC 80 Home One variant was an elite ship, not only to the Rebels, but just generally. The MC30c: Another Mon Calamari ship, the MC30c was light and fast with decent weaponry but lacking really solid armour. The Liberator Cruiser: A carrier and quasi front line support ship all in one... very interesting. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the video! I forgot to ask, but let me know which one of these ship types you would like to see in Episode 8: The Last Jedi, or future Star Wars movies.
