In this video I demonstrate two methods for creating a currency converter in Excel; both methods are real-time meaning the exchange rate will automatically remain up-to-date. The first method will work for you if you have Excel 365 which includes data types. The currency data type allows you to load currency exchange rates that automatically update every five minutes. The second method uses Power Query to load a table of exchange rates from a web page. This method allows you to set your own refresh frequency.
