Here's a little recap of the first day (day zero) of my Army deployment to Europe. I'm experimenting with my video/audio techniques in this video. It's very raw and you will hear pretty much just sound from the footage itself. I think it's more immersive and allows you to feel like you're actually there with me. Let me know what you think. I didn't think time could move so quickly; from when I first heard I would be deploying up until the day I had to pack all my household goods away and vacate my apartment. But this is my deployment experience and I would like you to join me on this trip. There are a lot of uncertainties, things I wish I would've packed, things I could have done to better prepare when deploying.
