Title: Mobile Location Tracking: Exploiting SS7 Vulnerability Description: In this video, we demonstrate how a bad actor can exploit the SS7 vulnerability in VLR and/or Serving MSC to track the location and equipment type of a mobile device by using the ProvideSubscriberInfo command. We show step-by-step how an attacker can use this command to obtain location and IMEI information and use it to track the movements and device type of a victim without their knowledge. This proof-of-concept demo highlights the importance of protecting against SS7 vulnerabilities to prevent mobile location and device tracking and protect user privacy.
