Hello and thanks for watching. This cabinet was fairly easy to make minus some of the issues I ran into later with the lift struts. I used 1x6 for the sides and the door. 1x2 for the trim and around the back. The Tv is actually mounted to the exterior of the house and the cabinet just hangs around it. So if I was to pull the Tv out you would see the house siding behind it. This is installed under a covered patio so if you’re going to have one that isn’t covered then I would suggest a better inclosed cabinet. The struts are 20” 100# which is overkill. Going to replace with 65# in a few days. Thanks for watching and constructive criticism is always welcomed.
