2.22.2026 This is not really an official woods area - it leads into the sewage effluent leaching area of the Morse woods that is kinda "off-limits". I've never been exactly sure why that is true during the winter months - and there are definitely skiable lines in there. Try to not get seen, there is signage and fencing at the bottom where it connects to Meadowlark. The recent warmup is starting to affect the texture of the snow in the woods on Morse this week. At least it was easier to float in the upper layers! There was definitely more of a 'skin' on the snow on this side versus the side that goes down to Wire Road over by Highlands...
