Date of Service: Monday, February 23, 2026 Minister: Patrick Djuna Theme: "Listening to God's Voice" Main Scripture: Isaiah 30:21 MAIN SCRIPTURE "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way; walk in it.'" (NIV) SUPPORTING SCRIPTURES Isaiah 55:8-9: Reminds us that God’s thoughts and ways are infinitely higher than our human perspectives. 1 Samuel 3:10: The example of Samuel’s posture: "Speak, for your servant is listening." Colossians 3:16: Encourages us to use psalms and hymns to let the Word of Christ dwell in us richly. SHORT DESCRIPTION We often struggle with spiritual deafness caused by the noise of life, unconfessed sin, or a prayerless routine. This message highlights the problem of spiritual stubbornness and provides the solution: cultivating a heart of "attentiveness and discernment" to hear the Holy Spirit through the Bible, nature, and even music. The Diverse Dialect of God God does not speak in only one way. He uses dreams, visions, His written Word, circumstances, and even our own conscience to distinguish right from wrong. We must be "tuned in" to recognize His frequency. Clearing the Communication Lines Obstacles like pride, bitterness, and disobedience act as "spiritual noise" that drowns out God's guidance. Monday Morning Application: Before taking action on a business deal or a family matter today, take a moment of stillness to ask for direction. SHIFTING YOUR PRAYER LANGUAGE Guidance: Instead of "Lord, I hope I’m making the right choice," say "Lord, I thank You that my ears hear Your voice behind me saying, 'This is the way.'" Spiritual Dryness: Instead of "I can't feel God today," say "Holy Spirit, I invite You through praise and hymns to manifest Yourself in my life right now." THE QUOTE OF THE DAY "Obedience is better than sacrifice; take time to pray before taking action." PRAYER POINTS Father, open my spiritual ears to be attentive to Your promptings this week. Lord, help me to be obedient the very first time You speak, without hesitation or doubt. DECLARATION Repeat this out loud: "I declare that I am spiritually attentive and responsive to the Holy Spirit. I will not walk in confusion, for the voice of my Father guides my every step.
