When installing /pouring concrete in cold temperatures and freezing temperatures; facts you must accept... PLEASE note, hotter / higher temperature is drawn to cooler temperature ( I think I stated this backwards in the video; not the last time I will make video mistakes)... I apologize. Concrete will NOT hydrate fully and the end result is a weaker concrete or NO set at all. Understand, this failure of concrete can also occur specifically on the top / finish of your concrete and this could be a very costly mistake. Take into considerations wind, air temperature, surface temperatures, concrete temperatures, add mixes, humidity and future temperatures over the next few days and I would say, out to the 28 day time line also. Basically, unless you have consulted with the concrete company and they have TESTED samples under your specific conditions, we can assume this installation and final result will be inferior... The good news, I have learned, if you concrete sets like it is 70 degrees out then you are on the path to a ''standard / typical" installation... That is if your initial set of concrete reaches 500 PSI as would be expected on a 70 degree day; then your top section of pad may look ''good''... The bad news, the lower part of concrete is more than likely NOT setting / hydrating as designed and you WILL have an overall hard surface on top of a softer lower ''base"... One will have ''cured'' faster than the other and not really create a chemical bond as it could have... as weak bond will result... NO forklifts and you maybe okay for foot traffic, etc.
