The session aims to showcase Movement Strategy Implementation Grants' (MSIG) grantee stories and journey, invite session participants to reflect and identify challenges to address or areas to improve in their community respectively, and brainstorm how to turn their ideas into an MSIG proposal. Movement Strategy Implementation Grants (MSIG) support projects that take the current state of a Movement Strategy Initiative and push it one step forward. The session will start with grantees from different Wikimedia communities and groups telling the stories of how their projects are advancing the Movement Strategy implementation journeys through Pechakucha format, showcasing tangible examples of what Movement Strategy Implementation looks like in practice. In the following, participants will reflect on some guiding questions and convene in small groups to discuss the problems they want to solve or areas to improve regarding their communities, as well as brainstorm potential solutions and possible activities that can be carried out in implementation. The session aims to help participants connect the dots of abstract concepts with tangible examples and to support participants in having a better understanding of how to turn their ideas into an MSIG proposal.
