(Edit: Please watch the follow-up video • Oriclopedia: HFE vs IMD when creating flop... if you are interested about the "No track verified" issue.) To make the physical edition of Encounter, I needed to transfer the content of my .DSK files (Oric emulator format) to actual magnetic floppy discs. One of the possibilities is to use a Gotek or HxC floppy emulator directly on the Oric, and copy the data to a 3" disk drive, but due to format incompatibilities that was not actually possible (soon!) The second possibility is to use a device such as the Kryoflux or the Greaseweazle to control a 3" drive directly from a PC. This is what I'm doing in this video using the following: HxC Floppy Emulator Software GreaseWeazle Host Tools GreaseWeazle F7 Lightning Plus Oric 3" Microdisc Powerful 12v power brick Here is the command used to write the HFE file to the device: gw write --device=COM4 --drive=0 --tracks=c=0-41:h=0,1:step=1 "C:\Oric\FLOPPY_IMAGE.HFE" Here are a few relevant links: https://hxc2001.com/download/floppy_d... https://github.com/keirf/greaseweazle You can get the Encounter game from http://encouter.defence-force.org
