I am saddened to hear the passing of Britt Allcroft, the woman who is responsible for bringing Thomas the Tank Engine to life from the books and onto television. She was a wonderful producer and made an amazing production that was very fun to watch and entertaining, watching a realistic model train sets that looked like a realistic train world. She found the right people to make the Thomas & Friends TV Series and hired wonderful storytellers like Ringo Starr, George Carlin (RIP), Michael Angelis (RIP) and Alec Baldwin. Thomas has been and always will be my childhood. Without the Thomas TV series, my childhood would be different. I want to thank you, Britt Allcroft, for bringing Thomas onto our television sets and making our childhoods. Thomas the Tank Engine has meant so much to me from my childhood to adulthood.
