Mahindra TUV300 Plus distinguishes itself from a regular version with a nine seater layout, more features and a larger diesel engine from the Scorpio. The SUV is available in three variants - P4, P6 and the P8. Further, it comes with five colour options such as - bold black, majestic silver, dynamo red, glacier white and molten orange. Exterior The SUV now measures 4,400mm in length, 1,835mm in width and stands at a height of 1,812mm. The width remains unchanged at 1,835mm, while the height has been reduced to 1,812mm with a marginal drop of five millimeter. The SUV gets reshaped headlamps with a lighter tint, redesigned bumpers, smaller fog lamps flanked by new silver inserts and larger 16-inch wheels. The SUV also gets a pair of new boxy, wraparound tail lamps, a smaller roof-mounted spoiler and also body colour spare wheel cover. Interior The new Mahindra TUV300 Plus gets faux leather seats, a 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment with GPS navigation and Pininfarina design theme. Moreover, the SUV is now available with ECO Mode, Micro Hybrid technology, brake energy regeneration, intellipark reverse assist, AC ECO mode and driver information system. It also gets a steering mounted audio and phone controls, a rear defogger along with wash and wipe, a driver seat height adjuster, armrests for the front row, a convenient storage tray below the driver’s seat, lead-me-to-vehicle and follow-me-home headlamps. Engine The SUV is powered by a 2.2 litre mHAWK engine that generates 120bhp of power and 280Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. This time around, the vehicle also gets hazard lights which switch on automatically in case of panic braking situations. As for safety, it gets dual-airbags and ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution.
