ELAD FDM-S2 HIGHLIGHTS

Hi - the video shows some highlight of the brand new FMD-S2 SDR (software-defined receiver) of ELAD with their software and the software of Simon Brown, namely SDR-RADIO.COM. The receiver covers the range from 9 kHz to 52 MHz plus 74 to 108 MHz and 135 to 160 MHz. As the manual of the SDR and the software is excellent, I just highlight some of the features which impressed me most. These contain e.g. DRM reception with bult-in Frauhofer decoder (yes, at NO extra charge!), the four receivers within a range of up to roughly 5 MHz, the two completely independent receivers of 382 kHz HF bandwidth each, RDS von VHF etc etc. Yes, many other features (e.g. WebServer) had to be skipped in this video due to (my) time limit. So just considers this a pilot or first encounter with a stunning receiver plus a brilliant software. Standing ovations to Franco and his team - Nils, DK8OK (reception took place in Northern Germany with an active quadloop of 20 m circumference whitin the last seven days)
