One of the main reasons for visiting Senegal was to visit www.PermaFoodForest.com, a 4-year-old productive permaculture farm that grows tropical fruit trees and medicinal plants, and in this video, you get to see all that this place has to offer. Almamy Djassy is our tour guide today. He is the master gardener of the farm in Kabadio and has vast experience with sustainable land use, soil rehabilitation, and bioconstruction. Apart from that, he is a great guy and someone whom I am lucky to call a friend. In this video, he shows us the ins and outs of his farm in Kabadio, and teaches us a lot about the medicinal benefits of the different plants and trees that grow on his land.
