In this video we are utilizing the very unique 10” + 6.5” GMT800 Front door pod from Custom Speaker pods to bring the sound out in Mykas 05 Suburban build. We got in contact with Russel from Hammertech and he recommended the OCF 10” for this application, a 200 watt waterproof speaker with a 90hz-16khz frequency range, to go with the OCF 6.5” I already had from previous installs. And you already know that any good door pod install is only enhanced by being accompanied with Second Skin Sound treatment, so we used a combo of Damplifier Pro and Overkill closed cell foam. This pod install was easy as cake, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t come across some challenges but we share all the sauce in case you run into the same with your install.
